At Least 27 Dead In Mass Shooting At Texas Church

Reports are still coming in, but it appears there are more than two dozen people dead after a mass shooting at a church in Sutherland Springs, Texas on Sunday morning.

According to media reports, a shooter opened fire at the church, leaving many people dead before later leading the police on a chase into a neighboring county, where the shooter himself was also killed.

The incident occurred at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs late Sunday morning, and death numbers are still fluctuating with the latest coming from law enforcement sources and a county commissioner that it could be as high as 27 people, per TMZ.

Around 50 people typically attend the church, so it’s a small worship center in a small town southeast of San Antonio.

Such a horrible, horrible tragedy.

Even Donald Trump has noted that he’s monitoring the situation from halfway across the world (below):

So sad for the people of Sutherland Springs, Texas.

Our thoughts and prayers are with them in this awful, scary time.
