Dave Chappelle Has A Way To Get People Off Their Cell Phones At Shows But Is This A Good Idea?!

This is inneresting, but will it work?!

Dave Chappelle is partnering with a company called Yondr to try and get audience members at his comedy shows off their phones for the night — and he’s doing it by locking phones up!

For Chappelle and other comedians concerned about having their acts taped, the idea of making it so that people can’t access their phones during shows is attractive — and the partner company is now developing the technology to do just that.

Basically, it works like this:

It’s an interesting technology, for sure — but it seems like it’d be fraught with quite a few problems, too!
