In A Box Office Weekend Without Any Major New Releases, Coco Wins Again!

In a weekend without any major nationwide box office releases,

When you add in the success Coco has seen on the foreign charts all around the world, too, its total gross over the last ten days worldwide comes out to a whopping $280 million globally, highlighted by $75.6 million in China to lead the way around the world!

Such an astounding success — and such a good movie, too — Disney and Pixar should be proud of themselves!

Add Thor: Ragnorak to the tally, too, and it looks like a great weekend for the Disney empire: Thor (which has been out for a few more weeks) tallied $800 million worldwide over the weekend, finishing at $816.4 million and coming in as a resounding success, all things considered!

But second place over the weekend, Justice League took in $16.6 million domestically ($197.3 million total to date), finishing well behind Coco but still holding out well.

Wonder wrapped the weekend in third place ($12.5 million over the weekend, $88 million gross to date), and after Thor in fourth, Daddy’s Home 2 rounded out the top five with $7.5 million on the weekend and a gross total overall of $82.8 million.

Whew!

Even though there was nothing new in theaters this weekend, did U see anything new — or re-watch Coco — this weekend, Perezcious readers?! Let us know in the comments (below)!!!
