The now iconic portrait, which both debuted the pop star’s baby bump and revealed there’d be two Knowles-Carters on the way, clocked in at 11.1 million double-taps. That’s a leap from 2016’s most-liked photo from Selena Gomez, which garnered a record-breaking 5.9 million likes at the time.
In addition to taking the crown likes-wise, Beyoncé was the fourth most followed celebrity of the year (108 million followers). Gomez remains firmly in the number one spot (130 million), with Portuguese soccer star Christiano Ronaldo (116 million) and singer Ariana Grande (115 million) behind her.
It looks like Instagram‘s 800 million users were really excited about family content this year, though. The second most-liked photo of the year belonged to none other than Ronaldo, celebrating the birth of his own twins.
